Review:

What started as a popular food truck grew into a brick-and-mortar spot in Nashville’s Belmont/Hillsboro neighborhood, offering a fancy version of everyone’s childhood favorite: Grilled cheese sandwich. If you are wondering what they could possibly do to a melted cheese sandwich to make it fancy, you would be surprised, and you will never again be satisfied with the old, simple version. To get the idea, try turkey di Parma with free-range turkey, buttermilk cheddar, balsamic-marinated sun-cured tomatoes, and walnut pesto aioli on parmesan-crusted rosemary garlic bread. The large industrial unadorned counter-serve place provides plenty of seating if you cannot wait to sink your teeth in the delicious cheesy delight. The Grilled Cheeserie also offers in-house made soups and spectacular milkshakes, snacks, and old-fashioned ice cream floats. And don’t worry; their truck is still going around Nashville.
