Drayton Hall is an 18th-century plantation located on the Ashley River in the ‘Low Country’ of Charleston, founded circa 1738 when the property was purchased by John Drayton.

History:The plantation was constructed in a Palladian style and was the only plantation house on the Ashley River to survive both the Revolutionary and Civil wars. Drayton Hall is a National Historic Landmark, surrounded by early-English historic landscape.
