Review & FAQ:
David Wessels was a farmer in York County, Nebraska. When he died in 1993, he left a big chunk of his estate and his 160-acre farm for agricultural education – for construction of a living history farm. The History Farm was open in 2005. There are now eleven historic buildings, each with its specific focus and a story to tell, but they all bring to lifewhat real farm life was like in the 1920s.
There is a fully furnished farm house, a country school, a country church, an outhouse, a post and beam barn, a granary and so much more. The building that houses farm equipment has more than fifty antique tractors and other farm equipment.
