After becoming accustomed to enjoying real cider in London, (U.K.), an enterprising pair of cider enthusiasts returned “home” to Middletown and decided to fill the cider gap in the local market. The operation started with small batches brewed at home but has now expanded to include a range of premium ciders. Spoke and Spy Cider Works use the finest local ingredients from nearby orchards whenever possible. When you visit you can purchase a variety of delicious ciders in bottles, cans and growlers. If you are unfamiliar with cider you can visit their tasting room where several varieties are available on tap. The Cider Shop is open on Fridays and Saturdays only.
