Review:

Located adjacent to the Greater Middletown Military Museum, the Connecticut Trees of Honor Memorial remembers and honors all the fallen Connecticut heroes who made the supreme sacrifice to safeguard America. The poignant and dignified memorial is made up of stone information pillars and a circle of 65 flowering trees (one for each fallen Connecticut hero) surrounding a large reflecting pond. In front of each tree there is a 3-foot high granite monument with details of each member lost in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. Four-legged heroes have not been forgotten and there is also a moving tribute to military working dogs.
