We drove about an hour and a half north from Philadelphia, arriving in Bethlehem. Historic Hotel Bethlehem, I felt like we had stepped into a story that had been unfolding for centuries.
For this visit, I wanted to experience Bethlehem’s past, from the Moravian roots to the steel legacy, and return each night to the charm of a landmark hotel.
I absolutely loved my stay at Historic Hotel Bethlehem, a timeless gem that effortlessly combines old-world charm with modern luxury.
Stepping into the grand lobby felt like traveling back in time. I admired the soaring ceilings, ornate chandeliers, and elegant period furnishings immediately set the tone for a stay steeped in history yet refreshed with contemporary touches.

4. The Betsy South Beach

5. The Jacquard Denver
We drove about 35 minutes from Denver International Airport, the Rocky Mountains rising in the distance as we reached Cherry Creek. 6. Westglow Resort and Spa
We drove a little over two hours northwest from Charlotte, winding through the Blue Ridge Parkway’s curves until the mountain air cooled and Blowing Rock came into view. Just outside this small town, Westglow Resort and Spa rose quietly on its hilltop, a Greek Revival mansion surrounded by rolling green and mountain layers beyond. I felt like we’d found both history and sanctuary in one place.

The interiors felt warm and refined, with antique furnishings, curated artwork, and soft neutral tones creating the best blend of welcoming yet sophisticated ambiance.
Our guest room was both cozy and elegant, featuring a plush king-sized bed with premium linens, classic wood furniture, a writing desk, and large windows that opened onto breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Outside, Blowing Rock offered trails at Moses Cone Park, scenic overlooks on the Parkway, and a downtown filled with shops and ice cream parlors.

7. L’Auberge Carmel in California
We drove just under two hours south from San Francisco, the Pacific Coast Highway curving past cliffs and ocean views until we descended into the storybook village of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
I was completely enchanted by L’Auberge Carmel, a romantic Relais & Châteaux property in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea that exudes European charm and timeless elegance.

Just under an hour northeast from New York City, I was thoroughly impressed by Delamar Greenwich Harbor, a refined waterfront retreat that combines New England charm with Mediterranean-inspired elegance.
From its prime location right on the harbor, the hotel immediately set a serene and luxurious tone.
