Their Nature Valley Hike is an easy hike that starts every day at 11 a.m. just outside the Spruce Saddle Lodge. Hike and Wine Excursions take hikers to Beaver Lake before stopping at the deck at Beano’s Cabin for a wine, cheese, and meat pairing. Rise and Shine Hike is a great combination of hiking, fitness, cardio, and stretching. The philosophy of getting food from farm to table is alive and well at the Edwards Corner Farmers Market. The market is the town’s favorite source of regionally and seasonally grown and produced herbs, fresh fruit and vegetables, and other food items. Every Saturday morning from June to September, local professional chefs, families, and visitors spend hours strolling through the market picking up fresh produce, indulging in a warm pastry from local bakeries or picking up ready-made lunch for later. They get to talk to the farmers who grow the food and the farmers get to learn what is in demand. The market also carries clothing, crafts, artisan cheese, floral bouquets, essential oils, and more. The market is located across from the Edwards Riverwalk, a popular shopping destination.

Zino Ristorante is a popular family owned and operated Italian restaurant in downtown Edwards, Colorado, a place where locals go for family celebrations and business lunches with important clients. The restaurant is upscale and large, with traditional décor and a famous dramatic staircase that leads to the second floor. Piemontese-trained Chef Haley changes his Mediterranean-inspired menu two times a year and uses only the best seasonal and preferably local ingredients. Larkburger was born in 1999 when it appeared on the menu at the renowned Larkspur Restaurant in Vail, Colorado and became an instant hit. The restaurant’s chef Thomas Salamunovich realized that a perfectly made all-natural gourmet burger would be loved by anyone anywhere, so he opened Larkburger restaurant in Edwards in 2006, selling only Larkburgers. The restaurant is a quick, casual counter-serve eatery mostly serving the favorite all-American combo of burgers and fries, but with one serious difference. It is food made to perfection using all natural, impeccably selected ingredients, and it rivals in taste and quality any gourmet dishes. There are no preservatives or additives; the burgers are made from all-natural Black Angus beef and all sauces and dressings are made in-house. The hand-cut fries are cooked in canola oil free of trans-fat. You can get local craft and international beer and a small selection of wines.

The Bookworm of Edwards is a lively locally owned independent bookstore located in the Riverwalk Shopping Center in Edwards, Colorado. The Bookworm started its life in 1996 in a retrofitted van that went between coffee shops throughout the Valley selling books to communities without access to bookstores. In 1997 Bookworm opened its first brick-and-mortar shop in a 700-square-foot store in Edwards Village Center, before moving to its current home in 2007. The Bookworm organizes frequent new book signings and other book-related events, as well as children-literacy programs that include book clubs and writing contests. The shop also donates books to schools, senior groups, and jails.

Located in a historic service station built in the 1940s, one of the first buildings constructed in Edwards, the Gashouse is a rustic chic restaurant with the vibe of a hunting lodge or a log cabin decorated with stuffed animal heads and ski paraphernalia. The restaurant opened its door in 1982 and has been a popular destination for American cuisine with a focus on wild game.
