Established by long-time resident of Turks and Caicos Mary O’Neill, Art Provo opened its doors to the public in 2003 before moving to a new location in 2007 at The Regent Village. The gallery showcases the diverse talents of the local island artists and exhibits a huge collection of ceramics, art glass pieces, hand-crafted jewelry, and prints. Visitors will also undoubtedly get a taste of what Turks and Caicos crafts are all about with sea glass jewelry, conch shell items, fanner baskets, and dolls available. The gallery also sells candles, picture frames, and scented soaps, bringing a hodge-podge feel to this eclectic and endearing location.
