Review & FAQ:
Stretching for 1.25 miles along the north coast of Trinidad, Maracas Bay is easily the most popular beach on the island. With its white sand, palm trees, and blue-green waters, the crescent-shaped bay is the perfect place to relax on the sand and admire the view. It's also an excellent place for surfing; the waves are an average of 3 feet in height, and the water is always pleasantly warm. The beach is also well known as the home of a popular street food called bake and shark, which is sold by a variety of vendors all along the sand.
