Some of St Kitts' beaches can get frustratingly crowded and busy. Some people don't mind a lively atmosphere and big crowds, but if you're coming to this tropical paradise to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet, you're better off heading over to Majors Bay. This beach doesn't get busy too often at all and is nicely situated on the southeastern part of the island, quite close to the ferry crossing point between St Kitts and Nevis. It's a simple beach, but the simplest things in life are often the best, as Majors Bay proves. With powdery golden sand and warm blue waters, the conditions here are just right for sunbathing and swimming, but there aren't any bars or restaurants in the area for now.
