Christiansted National Historic Site is a United States historic site that preserves the history and development of the Virgin Islands during the colonial period of the 18th and 19th centuries. It preserves six important historic structures within the city of Christiansted, which served as the capital city of the Dutch West Indies throughout the colonial period.
