Not quite an hour outside Moncton, New Brunswick, visitors can experience the highest tides in the world. Travelers will want to plan for both high and low tides for the greatest appreciation of this incredible phenomenon. Visitors can walk the somewhat muddy beaches beneath towering rock formations during low tide and take guided or self-guided kayak tours among the same rocks during high tide.The High Tide Café provides a full menu and an outdoor deck, while theLow Tide Café offers snacks. There is also an interpretive center, gift shop, network of trails, and a few caves to explore. The 300-year-old Acadian seawall, Bay of Fundy shorebirds, and Demoiselle Beach peregrine falcons are all worth a look.
