Review:

Depending on the level of adventure a traveler is seeking, experiencing Algonquin Provincial Park can be done in one of two ways. Most will probably opt for the 56 kilometersof Highway 60 that cut through the park offering eight campgrounds and14 hiking trails.

Three stops along the way explain the cultural and natural history of the park:the Algonquin Visitor Center, Algonquin Logging Museum, and Algonquin Art Center.

In spring, visitors should keep an eye out for moose along the highway. More adventurous types may want to explore the rugged interior of the park, which includes thousands of pristine lakes, epic ridgelines, and dense maple hills.
