Boba Guys is a lively tea and coffee joint offering 10 locations throughout California and New York City, including a Palo Alto location. The restaurant, which was originally founded as a pop-up in 2011 by business partners Andrew Chau and Bin Chen, specializes in variants of the popular Taiwanese-style tapioca delicacy crafted with organic milk or milk alternatives and premium teas from the company's Tea People line. All boba tea variants are prepared with housemade syrups and all-natural fruit purees, paired with Grade A tapioca balls and housemade almond and grass jelly. Specialty and seasonal flavors are served up throughout the day, along with build-your-own drink menus. Diners can also enjoy coffee from Brooklyn-based company Parlor Coffee or enjoy a variety of looseleaf black, green, and oolong teas.
