Walnut Creek Yacht Club is a unique restaurant, bar, and seafood market in Walnut Creek that has been voted as the best seafood restaurant in the East Bay by Diablo Magazine for more than 12 years running. The restaurant, which was originally opened by Kevin Weinberg and Ellen McCarty in 1997, is a Michelin-starred establishment that recreates the environment of traditional marina restaurants and yacht clubs in a landlocked atmosphere, with nautical decor touches throughout its casual dining room. Creative and delectable seafood dishes feature high-quality seafood supplied by the Osprey Seafood Company, the Bay Area's top seafood provider. Other ingredients are sourced from top area companies and providers such as Acme Bread Company, Golden Gate Meats, and Berkeley ice cream parlor The Latest Scoop. An extensive wine list has been recognized by Wine Spectator every year since 2005, and a full bar serves up single-malt scotches and local craft beers.
