The Walnut Creek Model Railway Society invites all model-railway enthusiasts to come and visit one the largest scale model railroads to be found in the U.S. The Diablo Model Lines railway is a permanent layout which has been lovingly created by an enthusiastic team of model railroad fanatics. The display is housed in a purpose-built structure and encompasses around 4,300 feet of track, covering one of the most mountainous terrains you will find. The display is open to the public on certain days each month – please check their website for details – and membership of the society is available to all enthusiasts over the age of 18.
