Review & FAQ:

Originally founded in 1992, the Sierra Nevada Children’s Museum (aka KidZone Museum) was the brainchild of a coalition of parents, agencies, and educations in Truckee. The museum has over 30,000 visitors annually, and is considered most optimal for children under the age of 7. Throughout the year there is a full schedule of camps, school programs, exhibits, and volunteer opportunities for the community and visitors to take part in. The KidZone Museum is considered a bilingual building and welcomes families that speak either English or Spanish with open arms. For information on specific events and hours of operation visit their website or contact them by telephone.
