Chatham, also known as Chatham Lighthouse Beach, lies just under the watchful eye of the Chatham Lighthouse, which actively guides sea traffic in these parts. Although the lighthouse is generally closed to visitors, it can be visited once a year during the summer and is free of charge.
Some areas are closed on the southern edge of the beach because the waters there are pretty dynamic and wild. Some parts are open to the public and you can swim or take a boat ride there. Chatham also offers some of the best seafood around.
