The State Botanical Garden of Kentucky, also known as the University of Kentucky Arboretum , is over a hundred acres of land open to the public every day of the year. The botanical garden is split into various sections such as an herb garden, a vegetable garden, a home demonstration garden, and a home fruit and nuts garden that has pecans, Persian walnuts, and Chinese Chestnuts.

There are multiple other sites that visitors will enjoy such as the "Walk Across Kentucky," which allows visitors to experience the seven regional landscapes such as Bluegrass, the Appalachian Plateaus, and the Cumberland Mountains, among others.
