Elefantastic is an amazing sanctuary that houses and cares for a number of domesticated Asian elephants. The elephants are usually of those who belong to low-income care-take families, orphaned elephants, or those that need medical assistance to live a full life. The entire facility is operated by those who genuinely love these large animals - who are free to roam the facility as they please and have dedicated mahouts who stay with them almost 24/7. You’ll never forget the moment you meet Sampa - a stunning 52-year-old female elephant - as well as the other gentle beasts who live there. You can take part in daily activities such as a calming paint session where you can color the skin of the elephants with safe colors, helping them have a bath, feeding them, and much more.
