KYYA Chocolate (from the Greek KAIA meaning pure) was founded after a visit to Uganda in 2012. After witnessing the degree of need in the country, the founders of KYYA Chocolate decided to start their own chocolate company using one of Uganda’s main resources, the humble cacao bean. Top quality cacao is imported at realistic, better-than-fair-trade prices and transformed into everyone’s favorite treat. Delicious, pure dark chocolate with a real feel-good factor. In addition to delectable chocolate bars, KYYA also produces syrups, bonbons and other specialties. Visitors are invited to come and take a tour of the factory and stock up on their favorite chocolate products.
