The Scottsdale Historical Museum offers both visitors and locals alike with an opportunity to learn about the stories of Scottsdaleā€™s past through various exhibits inside of a former one-room schoolhouse. The museum housed in the Little Red School House is supported by the Scottsdale Historical Society. Permanent exhibits at the museum include the one-room schoolhouse display, the Winfield Scott exhibit, and Goldwater furnishings. The Scottsdale Historical Museum is open Wednesday to Saturday between the months of September and May. It is closed from June to August and on some holidays. The museum also closes earlier in the day during September.
