The Jemison Carnegie Heritage Hall Museum and Art Center is on a mission to enrich the lives of the Talladega community by providing educational workshops and training to enable all citizens to understand and appreciate the artistic and cultural heritage of the region. The prestigious museum is located in the heart of the Silk Stocking District where it provides exhibition space, workshop space and archives. It is housed in an historic building which was built in 1808 and boasts architectural features which are worth a visit in their own right. The center hosts regular rotating exhibitions throughout the year and is also home to an impressive permanent art collection which can be viewed online.
