The 1,327-acre Meaher State Park can be found in the wetlands of Mobile Bay. It attracts locals and visitors as it is the perfect access point to the gorgeous stretch of Mobile Delta. Their boardwalk stretches into the body of water, letting you get a lovely view of your surroundings. Two additional nature trails are available at the park for you to go walking, hiking, bird watching, and see the local flora and fauna. Amenities such as a boat ramp and fishing pier have made it a popular destination for fishing expeditions as well. If you’re planning to stay overnight, Meaher State Park has several campgrounds for tent and RV camping, as well as two bayside cabins which overlook Ducker Bay.
