One of the largest National Register Historic Sites in the United States, Historic Blakeley State Park comprises over 2,100 acres of stunning land and water bodies in the Spanish Fort.

You will see so many historic artifacts and sites during your exploration there, with one of the major ones being the site of the last major battle of the Civil War.

Other aspects include Union and Confederate fortifications, colonial-era homesteads, and relics from American Indian habitation well into Archaic periods. Some of the amenities offered at the park include an extensive layout of nature trails, horseback riding, campsites for tents and RVs, and cabins which are available for rent.
