I share easy day trips, places to visit, seasonal and holiday vacations, and romantic weekend getaways from major cities where we were based for some time.
I prioritize trips that accessible to travelers of all levels and budgets when possible. I only write what I know about personally.
Also when possible, I visit the hotels, restaurants and destinations multiple times either by living there for a while. or on a return trip to provide reliable advice.
I keep my articles updated with current prices and opening hours whenever possible or provide you with a source you can check for yourself before you go.
I always recommend booking in advance by calling the hotel, tour, airline etc you are traveling with! In travel, availability can change at a moment's notice, places close due to weather or repairs, and prices fluctuate quite a bit with seasons... so you can avoid disappointment by calling ahead.
When I re-visit a place, hotel or restaurant, I re-write the article with new information to improve clarity and overall experience. My goal is to make sure the trips on VacationIdea.com work beautifully for you and your family.
