The restaurants at the Barnsley Resort make use of the kitchen gardens for their ingredients, creating local charm and encouraging sustainability. In addition to in-room dining, guests have a choice between the Rice House and the Woodlands Grill. Southern food is just as much a part of the decadence of the trip as any of the other experiences the resort offers.

The Rice House is a charming dining locale that was converted from a 19th-century farmhouse, and it is the winner of the 2015 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. The meals are crafted from local ingredients and sourced from regional farms. The food is inspired by traditional Southern cuisine but with an upscale twist. Guests can start their meal with a tempting Buttermilk Fried Quail, indulge in a Virginia Lamb Chop, and finish with the famous Rice House Smores.

The Woodlands Grill has a more casual atmosphere with service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can enjoy a view of the golf course while dining on more Southern inspired delicacies. Well drinks and cocktails are the perfect pairing with dinner, or you can enjoy them during the relaxing lounge hours between 3 and 5:30 pm. Guest can enjoy Southern classics such as Fried Green Tomatoes or the soul food inspired Kale Caesar salad.

The Beer Garden is the perfect spot to enjoy the warm summer breeze. Guests can choose from over 30 craft beers, and the casual menu goes great with friendly visits, Southern socializing, salads, delectable paninis, or bratwursts. It is subject to availability based on weather and season.

Harnessing the charm of the original history behind the Barnsley Resort, the spa was built based on the layout of an English carriage house and offers a wide selection of services, from massages to a pampering mani-pedi. With ten private rooms, an open whirlpool, and separate lounge spaces for men and women, this boutique spa allows everyone to feel comfortable.

The treatments include massage and massage therapy and utilize local ingredients, harnessing the detoxifying elements of the surrounding landscape. For example, the Deep Forest Detox uses sarsaparilla and honey tobacco to cleanse, exfoliate, and moisturize. Massage therapies include services such as the Swedish Massage, the Tiger Shell Massage, and even a Prenatal Massage for expectant mothers.

The Barnsley Spa has been named one of the best spas for facials by Discover Atlanta magazine. Focusing on beauty and pampering, they offer a wide selection of choices for facial treatments. There is even a Gentleman's Hot Towel Facial. Each service can be upgraded with added boosters such as the Vitamin K Brightening Eye Serum or the Transition Peel. Guests can indulge before a night out and take advantage of the makeup and hair styling services. These are also available in-room for added comfort and convenience.

The fitness center and pool are also available to all guests. There is a men's and women's lounge, steam room, and sauna area, as well as a co-ed whirlpool. Spa use is limited to guests age 18 and up, with select services available to children ages 12 to 17.
