Review & FAQ:
A part of the vast 170,000-acre Winnebago Pool, Lake Winneconne is a popular 4,553-acre recreational lake, offering opportunities for water and jet skiing as well as boating and leisurely showboat cruises. Fairly shallow, with a maximum depth of 9 feet, Lake Winneconne is full of fish, particularly largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, white bass, catfish, walleye, and northern pike. Catching a lake sturgeon is every angler’s dream, either in summer or in winter through a hole in the ice. There are several public boat landings along the lakeshore. The largest community on the lake is Lake Winneconne Village.
