Located on the Lincoln High School campus, the Performing Arts Center in Wisconsin Rapids seats more than 800 people in its proscenium theater. The center has become a hub for performing art events for the Central Wisconsin region and is the home of the performances presented by the Arts Council of South Wood County. Many different professional groups have performed at the Performing Arts Center in its comfortable, yet elegant space, such as the Dallas Brass, the Minnesota Ballet, the Bellamy Brothers, and the Vienna Boys Choir. The theater space is also well regarded for its amazing acoustics.
