George Webb opened his very first “hamburger parlor” in Milwaukee, with a goal of becoming a neighborhood restaurant offering food 24 hours a day. His menu of hamburgers, soups and chili quickly developed a serious following. The restaurant changed the owner at some point, but continued to grow using the same policy – comfort food cooked to perfection, made using the best ingredients. There are George Web restaurants today all over Wisconsin and the menu varies from place to place. Their spot in New Berlin is a tiny, narrow diner with classic diner stools, checkered floor tiles and the nostalgic old fashioned diner atmosphere.
