The Lardiere Gallery & Studio also includes the Lardiere Collection, which attempts to combine art and fashion. Opened in 1998, the Lardiere features artwork from the artists Geoffrey – modern, bright, and abstract. This art transfers over to the fashion scarves, travel cases, and jewelry offered in-store and on the website. If you find a particular artwork that touches you, you may be able to take home its partner scarf. Look for cashmere, silk, and square scarves in your favorite designs. The jewelry offered are bracelets that clasp together with the Lardiere logo in gold.

With 26 protected acres of land at Ephraim Preserve at Anderson , there is plenty of space to get lost in nature. The hiking trail is a 1-mile loop that prevents getting too lost when hiking (guests are asked to stick to the trails to not disturb vegetation and habitats). This hiking trail is mostly level terrain for easy walking even for novice hikers. During the visit, you’ll have the opportunity to come across some amazing waterfowl and wetlands. Though pets are welcome, they should be leashed to protect them and the wild animals. Originally a home, barn, and general store have become nesting grounds for the birds and fowl around the preserve.

4. Good Eggs

Owned by the late playwright Fred Alley and Joel Bremer, Good Eggs is a restaurant that looks to serve fresh wraps to customers hungry for something different. What sets this restaurant apart from other sandwich shops is that all wraps are omelet wraps made fresh to order on the other side of the grill. Wrap ingredients may vary since Good Eggs tries to carry seasonal produce. Visitors select one of three wrap types: Basic (with eggs, potatoes, and cheese), standard (traditional + veggies), or deluxe (standard + meat). A few ingredients that really shine are the olive oil and rosemary roasted potatoes, the homemade back bean salsa, and the Caribbean jerk chicken.
