The Katy House Bed and Breakfast is a graceful 1909 Italianate villa with an arched portico over the living room, featuring deep bay windows and elegant Georgian columns. The Katy House is located in the lovely old railroad town of Smithville, a favorite location for so many movies set in Central Texas. While retaining its original charm, the villa has been meticulously restored and modernized before it became a popular bed and breakfast. All rooms are furnished with original American antiques and memorabilia from the city’s railroad past.

Two of the the outside rooms welcome your furry friends. Staying at the Katy House Bed and Breakfast will give you opportunity to experience diverse outdoor activities this area is famous for: golfing, kayaking on Colorado River, long hikes through the Buescher State Park, or just a stroll through the city’s colorful Main Street with some great antique shops and sets of numerous movies that were filmed here.
