The Stockade Bed and Breakfast in Baton Rouge gets its name from the Union stockade on the ground throughout the Civil War. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the inn has six guest rooms in the Hacienda-style house which feature original artwork and a private bath.

Guest rooms have antique furniture, wireless internet, a flat screen TV, DVD player, coffee pot, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and mini-fridge as well as free access to the fitness center across the street.

All rooms come with a hot breakfast featuring traditional Southern dishes, with a rotating menu of items such as muffins, fresh fruit, biscuits, croissants, French toast, pancakes, hickory-smoked bacon, French omelets, egg soufflé, and garlic cheese grits.

There is also coffee, tea, and juice and multiple egg dishes. Various packages include extra items such as wine or spa services at the local luxury spa.
