Tucked inside the waterfront's Ocean Life Center complex in the historic Gardner’s Basin, the Atlantic City Aquarium is one of the top Atlantic City attractions that hosts more than 100 varieties of marine animals and fish, as well as a selection of fun, interactive exhibits for visitors of all ages. The tropical shark touch tank allows visitors an opportunity to feel several species of sharks while the Mid-Atlantic Coastal Zone boasts a variety of local organisms such as horseshoe crabs and sea urchins that can also be touched. The Aquarium also houses seahorses, moon jellies, moray eels, and Terrapins. Guests can also watch and participate in excellent sea shows and daily feedings.
