Flophouze Hotel is a quirky Round Top hotel crafted entirely from recycled shipping containers, offering six unique container suites decked out in sustainably-harvested wood furnishings, reclaimed timber, and upcycled decorations. The hotel, which is a project of architectural salvaging corporation Recycling the Past, is located on the site of the company's Round Top Ballroom event venue and offers communal guest amenities such as hammocks, fire pits, barbecue grills, and a Modpool crafted from a shipping container.

Funky suites feature countertops made from repurposed bowling alley floors, cabinet bases from a Brooklyn laboratory, and one-of-a-kind vintage decor sourced from the Round Top Antiques Show.

If guests fall in love with their accommodations during their stay, shipping container tiny homes are also available for purchase.
