Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:

Located on the Dungeness Spit, within the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, the New Dungeness Lighthouse is an iconic attraction as well as a functioning navigational aid. The lighthouse has been continuously operating since it was first constructed in 1857 and provides safe passage to those on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The 26-foot-high tower is a gorgeous sight to see, especially from the right view when you see the water span out before it. It is one of the few manned lighthouses to remain in the United States and their general public tours, which are held throughout the year, are extremely fun and informational.
