Stop by the beautifully safeguarded Gazzam Lake Preserve, and explore over 400 acres of pristine natural landscapes. Home to the namesake Gazzam Lake located in the park’s northwestern area, there’s a rich ecosystem of forests as well as a freshwater wetland area. The preserve is mostly untouched by man, making it a thriving habitat for various kinds of wildlife. Visitors may spot different species of birds throughout the park along with owls, deer, coyotes, and even the occasional bear. There’s also a trail system within the park which offers a quiet 2-mile hike through dense forests and alongside Gazzam Lake.
