When I stayed there, I could feel the character of the place the moment I walked in. I found out that it was built back in the 1840s. Once upon a time, it was a stagecoach stop, saloon, boarding house, and even a Civil War hospital.
You’ll notice the historic charm right away, but you should also know that the rooms also come with modern touches. You’ll find antiques mixed with conveniences like Keurig coffee machines, WiFi, and flat-screen TVs.
When I opened the large windows in my room, I was treated to incredible views of the town and surrounding countryside.
