Originally established as the Elden Street Players in 1988, the NextStop Theatre Company is an all-volunteer theatre company that presents a wide array of live entertainment to the local community of Herndon, Virginia and the surrounding region. Performed by professionals, the shows and events that take place at the theatre include concerts, comedy shows, plays, musicals, educational programs for both adults and children alike, and other types of entertainment. The NextStope Theatre Company has established itself in Herndon as a respected, professional regional theatre in the Washington, D.C. theatre scene, building on its strong artistic traditions.
