Virginia’s premier award winning whiskey, Roundstone Rye, is found here atCatoctin Creek Distillery – the first legal distillery in Loudoun County since Prohibition. Established in 2009, Catoctin Creek Distillery pride themselves on sourcing organic, environmentally sustainable fruit and grain to produce pure, clean, high quality spirits. In 2013 a solar plant was installed, so 85% of electrical usage in the distillery is offset and energy is returned to the public grid. Thirty-minute tours are performed every hour during opening times; tasting flights are also allotted thirty minutes to sample signature spirits. Open Tuesday – Sunday, reservations are recommended for tours and tastings. The Distillery is also available for private functions.
