Review & FAQ:

The Quechee Gorge Bridge in Hartford is one of the most beautiful historic bridges in Vermont and the state’s oldest steel arch bridge. About 165 feet over the Ottauquechee River, near the end of Quechee Gorge, the bridge was built in 1911 as a railway bridge and converted in the 1930s to a roadway bridge in the 1930s. By design, the Quechee Bridge is a 70 foot long one span steel stringer bridge. It carries Waterman Hill Road, in Quechee, the over Ottaquechee River. It is located on US 4, about half way between Woodstock and White River Junction.
