One of the most popular summer vacation destinations in Hungary, Siofok is located on the southern shore of stunning Lake Balaton. Tourist attractions include the water tower, the Mineral Museum, and the Great Church, but most people come here to lounge on the beach and swim in the beautiful waters of the lake. The Petofi walkway runs along the shore, catering to tourists with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars that provide excellent nightlife after dark. If you're not interested in a vacation full of late nights, then live music and other entertainment are often offered on the beach during the day.
