The hall is considered to be one of the finest concert halls in the world due to its superior acoustics. The hall has nearly 1,800 seats, with more standing room. Today, it has a stunning pipe organ that replaced the original one in 1907. The Musikverein hosts various musical performances throughout the year, featuring a variety of international musicians. The hall is also open to the public for guided tours when concerts are not scheduled.
