Review:
L'Aiguille du Midi, also known as “the Needle of the South,” was first ascended back in 1818 and has since turned into a popular spot for travelers. Fortunately, climbing isn’t necessary anymore with the construction of elevators and cable cars at L’Aiguille du Midi, home to the world’s highest vertical ascent cable car. It’s certainly not for those who have a fear of heights. The North Tower of Aiguille du Midi includes a snack bar and cafeteria open throughout the year, as well as the L’Aiguille du Midi 3842 Restaurant, one of the world’s highest restaurants, during the summer months.
