The Chalet Buvette De Caillet is a half-day hike starting and ending in the center of Chamonix, offering a great way to explore the beautiful town and the surrounding mountains when the weather is nice. The journey travels from town and up towards Montenvers through a lush forest and wildflowers during the summer season. The area is “out of bounds” during winter and spring. For hikers in need of a drink or snack, Caillet has a refreshment spot shaped like a wooden chalet set near the mountain edge, with the terrace perched out over the steep precipice.
