This classic Innsbruck Museum is named for its most famous centerpiece: the Innsbruck Giant Panorama Painting. This massive piece of art is huge, at over 1000 square meters, and constructed in a unique circular format. The piece itself tells the visual story of the struggle for freedom in Tyrol during the 18th and 19th centuries. The Tirol Panorama Museum also has a number of other exhibits pertaining to history and culture in Tyrol and Innsbruck throughout the ages, and there is also a small cafe and gift shop for guests to enjoy during their visit.
