When you visit The Eagle’s Nest, located on the summit of Eagle’s Nest Mountain, it can be a little difficult to comprehend that such an idyllic location was once used as the headquarters of one of the world’s most evil human beings. The Eagles Nest is only open to the public from around the end of March to October, depending on when snowfall makes the road impassable.
