Located in the quirky and fashionable mid-town area of Jordaan, Mr. Jordaan Hotel overlooks the pretty Bloemgracht canal and is surrounded by one-of-a-kind shops, galleries, and restaurants. The hotel started off in the 60s when the original Mr. Jordaan advertised his couch for use by tourists – the idea took off and the hotel grew in leaps and bounds. You can expect to find a variety of comfortable rooms for singles, couples, or families, all with interesting modern décor, en-suite bathrooms, TV, and free Wi-Fi. You can have a buffet breakfast downstairs (book in advance to enjoy a discount) and then set off to explore all Amsterdam has to offer. Many attractions are within walking distance and the rest are accessible by bus or tram in about 10 minutes.
