With hot temperatures, frequent afternoon thunderstorms, and high humidity, a visit to Houston in June is not the ideal vacation for many people, but for those who can tolerate these minor inconveniences they will find the city filled with far less tourists. Being a slow time for tourist season means that hotels and airlines are interested in offering incentives, and oftentimes a visit to Houston in June can be done at a much lower cost than during other times of the year. There are festivals, delicious restaurants, and plenty of indoor attractions when the heat becomes too much to bear, giving June visitors the best of both worlds in Houston.
