Arches National Park is a veritable wonderland of contrasting colors, unique rock formations, and textures that you can't see anywhere else in the world. There are more than 2,000 natural stone arches found in the park as well as several hundred other interesting rock formations and giant balanced rocks. You will be amazed at every turn and it's virtually impossible to see everything. The park is open all year round, and April begins the busy season as daytime highs are typically comfortable and temperature fluctuations overall aren't likely to be unbearable. It can still get quite cold at night, though, so pack accordingly. Map
